Google’s Security Tools

Google has announced their security tools which includes the eMail Filtering, eMail Security and Message Discovery.

Message Filtering: The Postini, Security Company it acquired last july for $625m. The Google SaaS (Software as a Service) security tech has been developed through Postini. The basic version of the tech (called Google Message Filtering) system to block inbound spam and malware.

Message Security: The main purpose of this service is spam protection. It combines the Message Filtering functionality with eliminate the junk mail and possible viruses. It also is offering to retain e-mail data for longer periods.

Message Discovery: It includes the Filtering and Security services with one year of searchable message archiving.

Microsoft Windows Live on Nokia S60 Devices

Now you can download the Windows Live services; windows live Hotmail, Messengers, Contacts and Spaces on your Nokia mobile with the series S60. Nokia has planned to provide these applications to be pre-installed on the coming new S40 devices. These services have been in a beta form for few months now to get the user’s conformability.

The main features are:

1. Attaché the photos and videos captured by your camera to emails

2. Send the photos & voiceclips to contacts thru FTP.

Windows Seven is the next full version of the Windows Operating System. The main feature will be speech and digital link functionality and advantage of 64 bit processin power.

Gates announced about the Windows seven in CES January 2007. He stated that it will be a more user-centric that means
“that right now when you move from one PC to another, you've got to install
apps on each one, do upgrades on each one. Moving information between
them is very painful. We can use Live Services [a way to connect to Microsoft
via the Internet] to know what you're interested in. So even if you drop by a
[public] kiosk or somebody else's PC, we can bring down your home page,
your files, your fonts, your favorites and those things. So that's kind of the
user-centric thing that Live Services can enable….”

Microsoft offers Software Protection & Licensing services for Developers.

Microsoft is planning to release Software Licensing & Protection services (SLP) for developers in the October 07.

The main features of this SLP are protecting the Independent Software Vendors (ISV) intellectual property, easily creating the license for their product, track the product and flexibly integrate into backend business process.

The Microsfot SLP platform will be encompassed of three difference elements, which can be licensed individually with Microsoft. There are :

Code Protector SDK : The product using the new concept called the “transformation” which is entirely different from the encryption and simple complication. This toolkit is specifically designed to protect and fully transform managed code or .NET code. Version one of the will work with .NET code; a forthcoming version will be adopt for the Win32 code.

SLP Server : This server product will come with Standard and Enterprise editions. A product that will allow ISVs to host their own servers and create software licenses — machine-based, time-based (for software subscriptions and trials), user-based and/or feature-based — for their products

SLP Online Service : This service will allow the partners allows partners to do all of their license management without hosting their own servers. Microsoft is planning to deliver three levels of service (Basic, Standard and Enterprise) to partners on a yearly subscription basis. The company also plans to give free subscription to the SLP Online Service Basic edition for the members of MSDN premium subscriptions.

Future Windows Releases

In Dec 2006, Microsoft has got notable points which will include in the next releases of Windows. But Microsoft doesn’t release these feature officially. It seems they feel some of the feature that users are most interested.

Among some of the more interesting items on the honed feedback-request list:

• Integrated antivirus
• Inclusion of a completely vector-based graphical-user interface
• Multi-session Remote Desktop
• Session-restore feature for Internet Explorer 7
• Capability for other Windows PCs to act as Media Center Extenders
• ISO/BIN system-image support
• Download manager for Internet Explorer
• Replace error ID number with plain language explanation

Google is planning to launch their new product “Google Apps Premier Edition”. This is the web based product. The feature of this product is more similar to what the Microsoft office desktop tool provides. The main highlighted point is the presentation tool not available in Google Apps Premier Edition. Google is ready to provide in online with 10GB of storage. Google is offering this product with cost of $50 per user.

Friends

This word made me a person with right human beings, my own thinking and mellowness. All are my friends are my hero’s. I am not a single person; in my each and every action has one of my friends. I have so much daunted in the words FRIEND and FRIENDSHIP.

I have to share some incidents which make my mind as mercy and heart as clemency.

One day after my college, I am returning to my home with my friends, while we on traveling, our bus dashed slightly to the bicycle driven by one school girl. Suddenly we are get down and watched some surrounding peoples are helped that little girl, she was injured and bleeding on her head. One of my friends, he took his hanky and tied with her bleeding spot. Its make me a freeze up. I amazed and proud his helping tendency….

Now he is not with us, one day God begged him to help his tragedy life, so he gone to serve the GOD…..

Then I admired one of my friends’ arguments with our professor and other friends.
He is simply exposing his thoughts with real and good examples. I learned from him is, if you have strong points whether it’s true or not, you can overtake anybody. For that you have to read lot of books.

Now he is very busy his profession.

After finishing my UG, I tried to get my PG in college, but my economical status doesn’t allow me to do that. Then I did my PG in correspondence. I successfully completed my PG with first class. Here you can see one of my friends who helped me a lot to complete the course and project work. My professional life made by him only. He brings me to Chennai and entered into IT field. I couldn’t forget this period, because I exposed my feelings, anger, sad and fun everything to him. He will accept all the things with smiley. I have done lot of stupid fights with him, which will make our friendship as strong and understand. I shared everything with him to relax myself but when he was started to share his feeling, I couldn’t be with him. What a selfish I am. Now he is keeping some distance from me to keep good relationship.

I found a one more wonderful friend from my professional life. He teaches me what is profession, what is personal and which are all importance in our life. I have done silly fights, idiotic arguments and unrelated discussions. I have some possessiveness with him, (I don’t like his school, college and team friends) He is very practical and cheers guy. He believed me a lot but I simply cheated him. So I am away from him. Now I am unbelievable person for him.

YES NOW I AM ALONE…..but I am sure no one can enter in this list….
